Updated 01/03/2008

Here are the long awaited FLIGHT assignment updates for the Guardian Angels. The uniform changes are effective immediately. *B* for Bombers, *S* for Scouts, and *C* for combat flight. Seems that the game only allows for 11 characters, so I've added your recommended uniforms! Each FLIGHT will have it's own job & chain of command. If you practice what you are assigned to do in a War, you'll greatly enhance our squad's ability to WAGE WAR in a successful manner. The Chain of command goes up from you to your Flight Leader, then up to the *CO*/*ACO* from there. If you have an issue please bring it up to your flight lead and let them take care of it if possible. If you feel you are not getting the results you should, then, elevate it. Here's the assignment list and a brief job description;
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(Leadership)

Prop2U*CO*
JebCSA*ACO*
Space Gnome*XO*

Responsible to the squad for leadership, information dispersal, tactical / strategic decision making, morale and Esprit de Corps.

Officers will fill in the flights where needed! Usually Bomber for Prop, Scout JebCSA and Space is the Combat Flight Leader. When they are in your formations the flight leaders retain leadership authority so Officers can "break off" and assist where most needed at any given time. YES this means Officers taking orders from the flight leaders when on their wing.

Flight Leaders will use FL after flight designation
Wear your highest ranking insignia

Bomber Flight (B-Flight)

Eagle*BFL*
JG*RO*
Prop*CO*
VonSiegl*B*

Responsible to the CO/ACO for destruction of vital targets, training and proficiency in your assigned duties. As such it is requested that you fly the assigned bomber aircraft when flying in team target games online to become more proficient in your aircraft. Push the envelope with your aircraft, you'll be impressed at what they are really capable of! Eagle is the BFL and will conduct initial training as soon as possible. Your training should include the Combat and Scout flights when possible for mutual support. Read the Tactics page and become very familiar with it's contents. This is a very controversial issue but it's a guide and works well. The other flights have specific jobs to do, when possible they will provide escort services. Therefore your core competencies should include and concentrate on target acquisition / evasion and self defense tactics. When in a War and it is not our bombing cycle you will avoid enemy contact when possible, stick with and support your wingman (men/woman) and attempt to destroy the active enemy drome once it's location is CONFIRMED.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Scout Flight (S-Flight)

Jester*SFL*
Jeb*ACO*
DOT *SF*
HoudDawg *SF*

Responsible to the CO/ACO for Aero Drome defense, recon and bomber support. As such it is requested that you fly only one or two of each sides aircraft to maintain proficiency when "gearing up for a War". Stick with what you know and get even better at it. Your priority is aerodrome defense followed by bomber support and lastly to recon the enemy to locate their flight routes and dromes. Your flight leader is Jester and he is responsible for your training. It is requested that you remain flexible in your training an allow it to include the Bomber flight (B Flight) so that they have a chance to fly against scouts in a training environment.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Combat Flight (C-Flight)
(Little of Both) as determined by CO

Space*XO*
Schnee*C*
Johnny Bravo*C*

Responsible to the CO/ACO for maintaining proficiency in a wide spectrum of duties to include, target defense, escort duties, scouting, bombing, distraction, and infiltration of enemy Aero Drome defense forces. Space is your Flight Leader and you are required to be the most versatile group of fliers. You will be assigned your tasks no later than 1/2 hour prior to all wars. Your primary job is to defend vital targets, to include Aero Dromes when told to do so, then to infiltrate, lure and destroy enemy Scouts and Bombers. When possible you will be reassigned to bomber duties during the bombing cycles to ensure a team victory by inflicting heavy casualties to enemy targets.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is concludes the assignments brief. Please become familiar with your duty assignments as they are fairly specific and if you cross over into another flights job we will loose some effectiveness by excessive redundancy. There is enough redundancy built in as it stands, lets not waste resources (I.E.... your talents and time). If you have any questions please feel free to contact Prop2U*CO*, JebCSA*ACO* or Space*XO*.

Thanks,
