"Scavenger"
| Terry Naughton passed away July 2nd 1994, he was in his mid fifties. Terry was known in the AW community as "Scavenger" of the Turkey Ham sq. He wasn't the best pilot in terms of flying skills but he was the most universally liked person online. The announcement of his death brought sadness to all who had the chance to knew him, many of us felt we had lost a close friend. Air Warrior had never seen a guy like Scav. There won't be another. He loved this game but he loved something even more. He loved the company of other dreamers. He loved the camaraderie, the boasting, the passion and the friendship. Scav though we were just about the best bunch of idiots he'd ever met in his all too brief life. He was right. |

"TMGMarv-1997"
| We Called him "1997" or so he called himself. 97 flew with us on Air Warrior of AOL in the WW1 arena. He flew as a Bzz and and was a great Fokker Dr1 pilot. We were all flying one evening when his son logged on and told us of the news, his father "97" had just passed away in a car accident, I personally will miss 97 for he was my friend in the air as well as my internet chat buddy. Air Warrior paid tribute to him of his passing as we requested, for that we thank them. For we in the WW1 arena are a small bunch of folks and we get to know each other very well..... He is survived by his wife and son, we wish them both well and Our Hearts go out to them both. |

"BOLS"
| He called himself "BOLS", his name was Glen D. Beaulieu. He died June 25th 1997 at the age of 31. He was a member of the "Assassins" in RRE I and flew BZ originally then switched to CZ. He started out as buff pilots and had just made the switch to fighters when Glen passed. Glen was a Class Boatswains mate in the U.S. Coast Guard for approx. 12 years. He was a newlywed of approx. I year and had found out that he and his wife "Donna" were expecting their 1st child 3 weeks prior to his death. He is survived by his wife Donna and their son Glen D. Beaulieu Jr. |

Kit "Biggles" Bolle
| An very old timer who flew as far back as the first Air Warrior camp No other information available at this time. |

Vernon "Yakbait"
| Served in the navy and was killed in a service related accident several years ago. No other information available at this time. |

"DPSalvo"
| Nov. 7th, 1998, Denver Colorado
DPSalvo was known for only a few months by his fellow Dawn Patrol squad and many of the Air Warrior 3/WW1 pilots. Although Salvo was the name he chose to use as his call sign, the pilots who knew him called him Ben! Ben first came to DP in early August and was an Honorable and Dedicated pilot to the "Flight Simulator" Chandera! He took to it like green on grass and could always be counted on to help his mates out in squad wars and flight nights. Ben will surely be missed, and I am just sorry we did not have enough time to enjoy his short visit with us longer. Ben will be greatly missed and we wish to send our condolences to his family. Ben is survived by his wife Lois, their 2 daughters Barbara and Peggy and their son Gary who is Eeasy/CO/AWAF\ of RRE3. Our thanks for getting to know DPSalvo and having him for the time we did. |

Ralph/"Trips"
|
Ralph Rhoads, aka Trips from the "Air Warriors of
AOL", mid to late 90's, who became <G^A>Ralph after joining the Guardian
Angels in 1998 while flying AW2 and AW/3D, passed away March 5, 2002. He
was a Viet Nam Vet, father to two beautiful daughters and a loving husband
to his beloved wife, Harumi.
Ralph was well liked and well known for his sense
of humor. He flew like a fireball outta' control. He was loyal to his
squad and more easy going than anyone you would ever want to meet. He was
always helpful in giving out pointers and showing others what he knew
about flying in cyberspace. His love for bombing was his strength!
Admittedly, he was among the best at doing so and if you asked him where
he was or what he was doing, he would tell ya' "Oh, I'm just over here
rearranging this here spot to suite my needs" In other words... he was
bombing the heck outta' the "Czz Bases".
Ralph will surely be missed and I'm sorry we
didn't have more time to enjoy his stay with us.
God Speed My Friend and as always...............§ALUTE! |
